Which of your classes is suitable for me?

 

If you have done Reformer Pilates before:

·         If you have done Reformer pilates classes consistently at another studio and are a confident with the exercises, you are able to join directly into a class.

 

·         If you have done Reformer Pilates before but it was done greater than 3 months ago, you will need to do a private 1 on 1 session first before progressing to a class.

 

If you have never done Reformer Pilates before:

·         Your first session with us will be a private session so that we can assess you before transitioning you into a class. This is so we can teach you the exercises at your own pace, make adjustments if required and ensure you are comfortable in using the equipment.

 

·         If you have an injury, the private session is very important as it enables our instructors to ensure each exercise is tailored and adjusted to you.  It also enables us to develop some baseline results so that we can see how far you progress throughout sessions.

 

I’ve done Matwork Pilates before, but never Reformer. What is my best option?

We suggest you complete a private Reformer session with an instructor before attending a Reformer class as we want to ensure you are confident and comfortable with the equipment and exercises.

 

I can’t make my class. Can you refund the session?

If you know you are unable to make a class, we ask you give us a minimum of 12 hours’ notice and our staff will reallocate your class to another time or date. If you do not attend or fail to let us know, you will forfeit the session. We do not refund lost sessions.

How do I book a class?

To book in for a reformer class or private session, please contact us on 9587 9130. Alternatively, please send an email to info@kogarahphysio.com.au with your name, contact details and desired times or classes you would like to attend.

 

What should I wear?

We recommend wearing clothing which is comfortable and suitable for exercising in. Most people wear a singlet or t-shirt with either tights or tracksuit pants.

 

Can I provide feedback and suggestions?

Of course! We welcome any feedback that will help make our classes even better. If there is any feedback regarding classes or suggestions on future classes, please email us on info@kogarahphysio.com.au.

 

What do I do when I get to the studio?

If you are new client, please arrive 5 minutes prior to class and say hello to our friendly reception team. You will need to fill in your new client contact information and health history questionnaire. If you have not yet purchased your session, please do so before attending the studio.
